In Indonesia, the coverage of infants who receive exclusive breastfeeding is recorded at 69.7%
of infants,  indicating the need for more intensive support so that this coverage can increase so achieve
the target of 80% in 2023 (Jurnal Gizi Aisyah 2022). According to the 2020 North Lampung Health
Service Profile, the data on Exclusive Breastfeeding Coverage in the North Lampung Region is 80%.
And data on the provision of Exclusive Breastfeeding in North Lampung Regency in Bukit Kemuning,
Abung Tinggi, Tanjung Raja, Abung Barat, Abung Tengah, Abung Kunang, Abung Pekurun,
Kotabumi, North Kotabumi, South Kotabumi, South Abung, Abung Semuli, Blambangan Pagar, East
Abung, Abung Surakarta, South Abung, Muara Sungkai, Bunga Mayang, Sungkai Jaya, North Sungkai,
Hulu Sungkai. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was a relationship
between exclusive breastfeeding and the growth of infants aged 6-12 months in Papan Asri Village,
Abung Semuli District, North Lampung Regency in 2023.
This study is a descriptive research method. The population in this study was 66 breastfeeding
mothers in Papan Asri Village, Abung Semuli District, North Lampung Regency in 2024 and the sample
used in this study was the entire population, namely 66 breastfeeding mothers. The data used is
secondary data, the measurement method used is using documentation study and the measuring tool is
the register.
The results of this study obtained data from 66 breastfeeding mothers who gave exclusive breast
milk, totaling 32 mothers (48.5%) and those who did not give exclusive breast milk, totaling 34 mothers
(56.1%). Based on the growth of babies whose BB and TB were according to age, there were 29 babies
(43.9%) and the growth of babies whose BB and TB were not according to age was 37 babies (56.1%).
Based on babies who were given exclusive breastfeeding, the weight and TB according to age were 19
babies (59.3%), the weight and TB not according to age were 13 babies (40.7%). Based on babies who
were not given exclusive breastfeeding, BB and TB according to age were 10 babies (29.4%), BB and
TB not according to age were 24 babies (70.6%).
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that among 66 breastfeeding mothers,
32 babies were given exclusive breastfeeding. It is hoped that mothers can provide exclusive
breastfeeding to their babies so that the baby's growth can be maximized.
